Are You Hiding In A Box?

You know her. She's that girl. The organizer. The planner. The happy homemaker. The Pinterest mom. Everything has a place. Boxes for storage, labeled, stacked, sealed.

Is this you? Keep reading. Is it not you at all? Keep reading anyway. Because we're not talking about your linen closet. We're talking about a box you built and don't even know you're living in.

I am not her. Never learned her rules. Maybe that's why they call me Breezy, because I go with the flow instead of falling in line. And honestly? That's served me well.

Because putting myself in a box and living there is not an option. Doing what I'm "supposed" to do has blurred lines on purpose.

But right now I'm not talking about junk drawers. I'm talking to the woman who has spiritually learned to put everything in a box, including herself. Mom brain in one box. Wife brain in another. House logistics, job logistics, all tucked away neat and labeled. And in the back, in a deep, dark, dusty corner, sits the business idea she's been sitting on.

You already know this. You feel it every time you watch somebody else start what you've been sitting on, then grow it, and something turns in your stomach. Not jealousy. Recognition. "I could have done that. I had that idea. I know more, I have more experience." The gap was never the idea. The gap was the faith to get in action.

If you sit on what God gave you, you'll be sentenced to a prison of woulda, coulda, shoulda.

Let me guess where you keep that faith. Locked up somewhere in your church box, taken out on Sundays, put back before Monday.

Baby, it's time to dismantle every safe space and box you've built to fragment yourself, because we need the whole woman to do this. Not because the business is about money. Because it was never about money.

The Proverbs 31 Woman Was Never Just A Homemaker

There's a woman in Proverbs everybody thinks is the standard of "perfect," the Proverbs 31 woman. We tuck her away in the homemaking box. But study the scripture and she wasn't just a homemaker. She was a business mogul. An influencer. She was known far and wide. She didn't just gather food, she owned the field she got it from. She was an employer. A leader. A mover. She pulled everything together as one whole woman and got to work.

If He gave you an idea, it wasn't a question mark. It was an exclamation point.

The Sentence That Sat On My Chest

For me, it stopped being a someday idea the day my husband looked at me and said, "Imagine how many women won't, because you never did." That sentence sat on my chest for weeks. Because I realized the weight was never just mine to carry. If I disobeyed what God told me to do, that cost wasn't only mine and my family's. It cost every woman waiting on my example to know it was possible for her too.

And then I had a daughter. And I realized she wasn't just watching me. She was mimicking me. Her actions will speak louder than anything I ever tell her, and I wanted them to say something true about what it looks like to be a woman who operates in business and faith, whole, not fragmented.

It Was Never About The Money

That's what this is actually for. Not the money, though the money matters. It's legacy. It's showing people what's possible. It's saying "look what He did with me" out loud, on purpose. It's proof that what we build cannot be stomped out by somebody else's politics, opinions, or timeline. It's the answer for the next woman and for our daughters coming up behind us. If you don't start it, your future and your family's future carry that cost. So does hers.

When God told you the business plan, you gave in to fear and lack instead of investing in the system. The strategy.

Your 24-Hour Inventory

So here's what I'm asking you to do, and it's not "go be a mogul by Friday."

In the next 24 hours, take inventory. Not of what sounds impressive, of what's actually true. What are you already good at? What skill, talent, ability, or gift has God already put in your hands, the one you've been using in every other box, mom brain and job brain and house logistics, without ever pointing it at the thing you actually want to build? You don't need something new. You need to stop scattering what you already have.

If you haven't started, this is your inventory. If you've already started, I'm not asking you to scale to seven figures overnight either. I'm asking the same question at your level: what's in your hands right now, and what will you actually do with it this week.

The God in you didn't set you up to fail. So get out that box, girl!
